Our current manager is moving back to Sweden so it's time to find our new local manager to continue our successful journey in China - Is this YOU? 

What we are looking for

Profoto is always hiring for attitude and potential! For this role we are looking for an experienced and international, very sales driven leader with the potential and apatite to take on more responsibilities to secure the future sales growth in the Chinese market. We are looking for the key player for China, with documented successful international business experience to take on this challenge at the same time being a true team player with our HQ team in Stockholm. 

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing the Profoto China Subsidiary including team of 8 professionals, the relevant defined business KPI’s for sales, marketing and sales & operation. This role reports to the VP Global Sales based in HQ Stockholm.

  • Ensuring profitable sales growth through planning, execution and management of a supportive team 
  • Planing and executing the regional sales & marketing plan and budgets to achieve the sales targets, ensuring growth both long and short-term 
  • Setting sales targets and driving sales growth with the defined key accounts as per the Profoto Key Account Planning process, both in offline and online channels 
  • Developing digital sales and digital marketing competence within sales channel 
  • Aligning cross-functionally to increase ROI of sales and marketing activities
  • Stipulating and defining price policies and account contract terms 
  • Managing local operations and inventories i.e. supply and delivery. 
  • Sales analysis (including stock & sell through data) vs. deviations to target. Investigate reason for deviations and take actions to get back on track. 
  • Supporting high-level negotiations with assigned Key Accounts, moving within the parameters defined by sales management 
  • Every quarter, following the guide lines for the Profoto AB forecasting process, doing account and product sales planning and the cost forecasting (P&L). 
  • Ensuring that all disputes are solved within set target timing in collaboration with needed resources  
  • Responsible to ensure that the After Sales Service delivers an excellent customer product quality but also excellence in service experience. 
  • Yearly contract negotiation and signing 

Requirements

  • Masters degree 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skill in English and Mandarin is required. 
  • +5 years of international sales, people and P&L management experience having lived and worked in markets both inside and outside China 
  • Proven and documented experience in a multi-channel sales environment of both direct and in direct sales, B2B and B2C, traditional and digital sales/marketing. 
  • Experience managing the business with a data driven approach according to TAC (Targets Actions Competence) always having an account plan with clear targets and knowing your numbers.
  • Driven by tough targets and action oriented to fulfil and exceed them

You are an international business person who loves to work in a fast changing environment. When needed you will take the uncomfortable business decisions to drive change. You are prestigeless and a skilled communicator with both customers regardless if they are store staff or high level executives. 

  • Excellent holistic thinking and conceptual selling skills.
  • Detailed and thorough knowledge of relevant industry, competitors, dealers and end users. 
  • Strong skills and experience in negotiations with key accounts at all levels. 
  • Outstanding problem solving, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Result-oriented with a creative mindset combined with a strong drive to win. 
  • Strong ability to work and deliver results in a rapidly changing environment with an open mindset, embraces and continuously initiates change.
