What we are looking for

Profoto is looking for a Key Account manager to join our European team with focus on the French market. The position is home based but with frequent travel to visit key customers throughout the defined marked area and to various events. 

Profoto is looking for a professional with a strong drive to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment. Therefore, we are looking for a commercial person with an open mindset, a “can do” attitude and passion to develop and grow at Profoto.

Key responsibilities

The Key Account Manager delivers sales and business results according to the global sales strategy and is responsible for the sale and promotion of Profoto products in France. With dealers as your customer base it should be done by encouraging resale to the end user, within the agreed frameworks of the sales strategy and the distribution policy. The main task of the job is to grow and develop identified accounts, but also to develop new accounts and channels in France. The Key Account Manager defines the goals to be achieved and develops plans with assigned key accounts with the aim of partnership to achieve the set business goals.

Requirements

  • University degree, master is preferred
  • Fluent in English and French. German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch is a plus
  • Must be able to travel (minimum 50 days per year)
  • Proven experience of multi-channel environment and knowledge of both direct and indirect sales and marketing
  • Excellent holistic thinking and conceptual selling skills
  • Strong skills in negotiations with key accounts
  • Technical skills or technical orientation is an advantage
  • Experience in channel marketing and digital marketing is an advantage

  • Knowledge of the photo industry, competitors, dealers and end users is an advantage.
