What we are looking for

The Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales through strategic business planning, coordination of internal and external resources and execution of the overall territory plan. This includes sales and marketing activities to dealers, educational institutions and rental studios in New York city. 

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to provide Key Account Management to existing accounts.
  • Develop, initiate and execute sales initiatives to achieve growth in-line with overall company objectives.
  • Design and implement marketing plans to improve brand presence within the territory, including both on-line and in-store initiatives.
  • Manage dealers' efforts in sales growth within the Education community.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group sales presentations and training.
  • Coordinate & train re-seller staff on the products, program and benefits Profoto offers.
  • Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve each account.
  • Assist in the quarterly sales forecast 12 months rolling, by product and key account per market.
  • Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements. 


  • 5 years of experience working with resellers within photographic or consumer electronic industry
  • Strategic planning experience
  • Strong ability to work and deliver in a rapidly changing environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
