What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced native French speaking channel and event marketing manager, with a focus on assisting our retail partners with their online and instore needs. We believe you are a person who has a great experience in working with customer acquisition, all through the above-mentioned means and you know the French markets very well and has a strong interest in truly understanding the business.  You are a true team player, as you will be working closely as part of a European team, as well as the liaison between our sales managers and different departments within Global Marketing and E-commerce at Profoto HQ. This is a vital role, as Profoto continues to grow, both through new customers as well as through our brand loyal customers. 

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing coordination with our dealers, ensuring excellent online and in-store implementation, including the coordination and marketing of in-store events.

Also coordinate end user events and trade shows, including regional Profoto Academy events. Working closely with Profoto HQ on influencer, social media, content creation and digital marketing in the region to ensure the effectiveness of all digital marketing. This should lead to high engagement rates and generation of new customer groups and the nurturing of existing.

Area of responsibility

  • Coordinating marketing needs for their dealers including online, in-store, events and staff training and promotions.
  • Online implementation with dealers, making sure Profoto is maximising the product exposure and the launches & promotion. Analysis of results with sales to continuously work on improving performance.
  • In store implementation, ensuring displays are installed according to the company policy, plus manage and update the playlists.
  • Support dealers and partners with marketing material to ensure successful product launches, sales activities and marketing campaigns and ensure to maximise the implementation of product sales.
  • Coordinate dealer events, set up Eventbrite, make invitations, manage invitations and coordination of the programme etc.
  • Organise Profoto Academy Dealer events and ensure the conversion to sales in store and online of courses.
  • Liaise with Global Academy Manager on Profoto Academy workshops in the region, help out and coordinate.
  • Manage product launches in the region in close cooperation with regional digital marketing coordinator at HQ.
  • Manage the local shows/exhibitions like Salon du Photo, events with wedding photographers, Clicking Mom etc. Responsible for planning, development and execution of local events with dealers and end users.
  • Coordinating the delivery of artwork for advertising, promotions, events and dealer communications. Ensuring creation is according to plan and in accordance with company branding and graphic guidelines.


  • 3-5 years of marketing experience preferably from a global premium brand, with focus on customer acquisition and lead generation.
  • MSc in Marketing/Digital business
  • You are an experienced channel marketeer and a skilled writer
  • You are a native French speaker plus fluent in English & preferably Swedish.
  • You are willing to travel extensively. 
  • You live in France, or want to move there.

  • Channel marketing experience, and experience of working with the dealer channel.
  • Digitally savvy to ensure effective & efficient online dealer implementation & analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Self-starter
  • Strong project management skills
  • A team worker and builder
  • Strong desire to work in an international environment 
  • A photographic interest is a plus, but not a must.
