What we are looking for

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all sales and marketing activities of all product lines within Profoto in his/her geographical area of responsibility. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing sales through effective business planning, coordination of external resources and execution to generate YOY sales growth of 15%. Strategic business planning shall lead to immediate and long-term actions resulting in long term growth of sales as well as reaching short term sales targets. 

Key responsibilities

  • Provide Key Account Management to an existing territory
  • Formulate & implement business development strategies to ensure long-term success
  • Effectively managing accounts in a multi-channel environment by driving growth in both traditional channels and new channels
  • Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it for each key account
  • Provide a consultative business process for Profoto to reseller channel
  • Quarterly sales forecast 12 months rolling, by product and key account per market
  • Conduct quarterly account reviews
  • Conducts one-on-one and group sales presentations and trainings
  • Develop and maintain prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads in our CRM system
  • Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and expectations
  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with the key reseller channel
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements
  • Designing and implement marketing plans to improve the market share of the company, including in store display and POS as well as online initiatives
  • Coordination & training of reseller staff on the products, program and benefits Profoto offers
  • Identify geographic regions requiring additional coverage and find suitable new dealers when possible 

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business, marketing and sales or related field of study
  • 5 years of experience in the sale of professional photographic equipment
  • 5 years of experience in managing reseller channels
  • Strategic business plan experience
  • In depth knowledge of lighting techniques and light sources used by photographers, as well as a working knowledge of the major industry brands
  • Strong ability to work and deliver in a rapidly changing environment
  • Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • A professional that wants to develop rapidly within sales and marketing
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Extensive travel both domestic and global
  • Must hold Canadian Permanent residence card or Citizenship
