At Profoto, we are entering an exciting phase with a comprehensive web project, and in parallel with this, one of our colleagues will go on parental leave. Therefore, we're looking for a new team member to take on the role of Web Editor with technical skills and e-commerce experience, on a 12-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension. The position is to be located at our headquarters in Sundbyberg.  

What we are looking for

We are looking for a technically skilled and motivated hands-on Web Editor with knowledge of e-commerce practices. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and be familiar with CMS platforms in terms of editing and publishing multilingual content on our website. This role will require a balance of hands-on web content editing and publishing, and technical expertise to enhance our online presence. 

Key responsibilities

• Upload and edit content (text/images/videos/links) in web content management system and other dependent systems - including localizations, i.e., coordinate translations and manage/upload content in multiple languages – in a consistent and high-quality timely manner
• Regularly check and track content for accuracy
• Edit, proofread, and suggest improvements to written content
• Assist and participate in our product and campaign launches
• Solve and troubleshoot bugs along with technical support
• Be our CMS and PIM superuser in terms of functionality and system knowledge
• Assist with hands-on tasks during our product and campaign launches
  
• Monitor website performance, track key metrics, and generate regular reports to identify opportunities for improvement and propose actionable insights.
• Create and send out email marketing (in several languages) on a regular basis, and other administrative tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience working as a web editor, content manager, or similar role, in an e-commerce or technology-driven environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Familiarity with content management systems is essential
• Ability to upload and publish engaging, accurate, and error-free content
• Basic familiarity with image editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) is a plus 
• Excellent coordination skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
