What we are looking for

Our Vice President Digital Sales will be responsible for expanding our digital sales globally. Therefore, we are searching for a highly ambitious and action-oriented leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and E-commerce expertise to lead Profoto’s digital sales. You will be the key player to build the future for interacting with the brand world-wide. 

Key responsibilities 

You will be responsible for the global digital marketing and sales strategy and for the execution and continuous optimization of all digital marketing and sales operations world-wide. This includes improving sales performance through the Profoto Brand Store and Academy, including traffic acquisition, customer experience management, conversion optimization and customer relationship management.

Main area of responsibility will be:

  • The Digital Sales Strategy
  • The Digital Marketing strategy
    • Inc. strategy for Social ads, Display ads, SEO, SEM, etc
  • Develop efficient and seamless customer processes
  • With a clear omnichannel mindset over all customer touch points through the full funnel
  • Website optimization
  • Customer Journey optimization
  • Leading continuous testing
  • Re thinking our way of work and initiate pivots when needed
  • Chair of the Profoto.com road map forum
  • Lead and encourage continuous growth within your highly competent team 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you are a high achiever with an outstanding sales experience and records. You are used to achieve success and excel in the fields listed below:

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the digital marketing landscape
  • Experience of successfully building e-commerce businesses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven leader that brings out the best of its team
  • Experience and good understanding of the latest marketing and sales technologies including analytics, sales, CRM and marketing automation software
  • MSc, MBA or PhD in economics or engineering
  • Knowledge of photography is beneficial 
  • Due to the global reach of our business, occasional travel will be expected
