Regional Key Account Manager Central Europe
Main Responsibilities
The Regional Key Account Manager delivers sales and business results according to the sales strategy as set by VP Global Sales and Regional Manager EMEA and is responsible for the sale and promotion of Profoto products via dealers in the DACH, Eastern Europe and Benelux markets. With dealers this should be done by encouraging resale to end users within the agreed frameworks of the sales strategy and the distribution policy. The main task of the job is to grow and develop identified accounts but also to develop new accounts and channels in the defined market. The Regional Key Account Manager defines the goals to be achieved and develops plans with assigned key accounts with the aim of partnership to achieve the set business goals.
Oganization
The Regional Key Account Manager reports to the Regional Manager EMEA and will have a team of sales/marketing representatives reporting to you.
The position is home based, preferably in the southern part of Germany, but you must be able to travel extensively to visit dealers and end customers throughout the defined marked area and to events/trade shows.
Major responsibilities are listed below:
- Profoto business development
- Quarterly setting sales targets and driving growth in your region
- Responsible to maximize ROI with allocated marketing budget
- Responsible for executing launches and campaigns
- Effectively managing accounts in a multi-channel environment and driving growth in both traditional channels and new channels
- Ensure execution of profitable events and follow up performance in Profoto event tracker
- Participate in periodic assigned European events and meetings at Profoto HQ or any other location
- Perform co-visits with dealer to B2B accounts (rentals, studios and schools)
- Develop a strong relationship with cooperation partners in the region, e.g. camera manufacturers
- Every quarter doing account sales planning and forecast update and reporting
- Efficiently lead and manage your team towards the set company targets and targets for the region
Competence
Required experience and knowledge:
- University degree with a minimum of 5 years sales experience
- Proven experience in a multi-channel sales environment and knowledge of both direct and in direct sales/marketing
- Strong business mindset with great skills and experience in negotiations with key accounts
- Excellent holistic thinking and conceptual selling skills – “selling a story”
- Manage the business with a data driven approach – “Having an account plan and to know your numbers”
- Detailed and thorough knowledge of the industry, competitors, dealers and end users
- Result-oriented with a creative mindset combined with a strong drive to win
- Carreer driven with a strong ability to work and deliver in a rapidly changing environment
- Team-player, working across borders in an international business environment
- Outstanding problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English is required
- Technical skills or product technical orientation is an advantage
- Action and competence driven
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Must be able to travel extensively
- Skills within Microsoft 365
- Has an open mindset, embraces and continuously initiates and implements change!
