We are seeking a dynamic Product Sales Manager for our Cinema lighting category to join our team. With a huge understanding of the cinema market, you will be the main lead for our success and take an active role in our go-to-market strategy. You are our boots on the ground in Hollywood, providing a blend of sales expertise and product management skills to drive revenue growth through close customer contact and understanding customer needs. You are eager, humble, enjoy the human interaction and you love to sell.

Key responsibilities

• Sales activation of cinema dealers and rentals in North America, with focus on the US west coast catering to the Hollywood cinema production market. The role includes traveling to other cinema production hubs across North America.
• Key account planning with forecasting and follow-up with responsible Key account manager, driving sales through execution of dealer and rental activations, and events, working directly with the end user.
• Engage with end users to gather feedback, understand use cases, and validate product improvements and requirements. Act as a customer advocate within the organization to meet customer needs.
• Define product success and track performance against measurable targets.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to iterate on product strategy and improve sales effectiveness.
• Together with the marketing team build Profoto’s presence in the Cinema Market through community relationships with ambassadors through events and with DOP and Gaffer communities.
• Developing the sales channel including training of dealers, rentals and customers
• Collaborate cross-functionally including global sales, marketing, R&D to prioritize product features, coordinate product launches, and ensure successful execution of go-to-market plans.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding and experience from the cinema and film production market and how DOPs, Gaffers, Lighting director work.
• Documented +5 years of professional sales and/or marketing experience in the cinema and motion production category
• Proven track record in sales and/or product management roles, with a focus on driving sales revenue growth, preferably within the cinema hardware
• You are socially skilled and interacts with DOP and gaffers effortlessly
• Understanding how light is the essence of every frame captured.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.
