Studio Solutions Sales Manager, US West Coast
Profoto is a leading premium brand active across the photographic industry including products serving end-customers in both the E-commerce photo studio environment and professional photographers.
The Studio Solution division of Profoto is focusing on providing workflow solutions to studios creating visual content for e-commerce within the AFA-segment (Apparel, Footwear, Accessories). The products are automated photographic solutions, workflow software as well as Profoto’s traditional lights and lightshapers.
The Studio Solutions Sales Manager is responsible for revenue growth and execution of the sales strategy for the United States and Canada. This includes managing our existing dealer network, uncovering additional resellers as well as identifying and qualifying corporate prospects and potential customers.
The position is preferable located in Southern California.
Main Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for dealer channel, including, but not limited to support, training of staff, implementing sales activities, and motivation of sales team
- Track and analyze progress vs. target to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies, to make data-driven adjustments and ensure continuous improvement in achieving sales goals
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts by understanding their needs and providing solutions
- Together with our dealers, expanding the client base through cold and warm contacting of prospective customers
- Conduct end user visits with dealer sales representatives and independent of the channel to provide leads and contacts for the dealer
- Support dealers with product knowledge and ensure that they present our solutions correctly
- Quarterly sales planning and forecast for the territory
- Ensure disputes are solved within set target timing in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and proven knowledge of Business Development and Sales to the E-Commerce and Commercial Photography markets, as well as:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or business management (or equivalent)
- 5+ Years of professional sales experience with sales to e-commerce photo studio accounts
- A keen understanding of the industry, competitors, dealers, and end users
- Strong track record in achieving sales targets, client acquisition, strong negotiation and closing skills
- Strong analytical skills and management of the business with a data driven approach
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
- Fluent in English (Spanish and/or French is a plus)
- This role requires extensive travelling
- Ability to embrace and continuously initiate change
Organization
The Studio Solutions Sales Manager reports to Vice President Studio Solutions.
Compensation
